I have to say that I could not care less about mysteries a decade or so ago, unless it was a
Sherlock Holmes, then I got turned on by a friend to "House" which is lead by Dr. Gregory House. Turns out I
had a shock when he goes walking into his building and the address is 221 , and another episode it is 221 B,
so I thought, wow, what a coincidence. Turns out the writers based G. HOUSE off of HOLMES.
DUH.!!
ha ha ah.
but I got into more, the NCIS, and Psych and Numbers and Law and Order and CSI and CSI NY, Miami and such.
I was fine, until I started matching minds with the CSI and LaO folks, my lord and Jove, I thought I was trying to
out race mental fungi than beat these mental wood chips.
If you, or me were criminals and had just an ounce of forensics behind us we could easily commit any of these
show crimes and they would end up cold case files for ever.
I say we need to have a few more shows out there that challenge us, something like the movie "Negotiator", Memento,
Silverado, Sleepy Hallow, "Sleuth" (oh, that was awesome!), or many more.
I do not have a doctor's MD degree so the medical shows are not best suited for me to solve, but
the Numb3rs one I find easy to get into and applies my mind to how it might be best resolved.
Besides this board game "clue" are there games out there that can teach or challenge problem solving,
negotiating, strategy, politics, and sleuthing to some degree above that of a cockroaches traces on the floor.?
Thanks
Maybe we could have a posted challenge here on solving a complex puzzle, conundrum or crime, hmmmm.
